Photos of "80 cents" lowered suspension
Here is the final outcome of the sensor-lowering method, Front -20mm and Rear -12 mm (keeps changing depending where you park, damn it)
Also a Photoshop comparison of a 19" "Carlsson" with the stock 18" AMG weels.
"Carlsson" is a 15-spoke Taiwanese knock-off: "nice from far, but far from nice..." I did not have a flat picture of the genuine Carlsson for this exercise. For all the purists here, I will definitely buy the genuine Carlsson 1/16 wheels, scout's honour!
Please feel free to comment and give your preferences.

Still, I would rather just have the adjustment done by teh computer to avoid any problems. I just feel uneasy about your method, but if you are happy that's all that matters.

The Carlsson's get my vote, as long as they're real. I saw an article in European Car where they featured an E55 w/ Carlsson upgrades. I don't know if they used the ultralight wheels, but it looked damn good. Looked like IanSL55's car (very nice!). Its not my ideal wheel for my E55, but Carlsson looks hot!!!
