Unbelievable time Derek!!! What all do you have done to your car? I know you have told before but please give us an update one more time. Great job, the car must have gotten a ton of attention after that number hit the board.

Damn thats a fast car! Dje55 are you going to Crofton Raceway tomorrow? It sgoing to be so much fun! 3 modded w211 E55's, SL65, Kleemann Cl55, Renntech C32, etc etc. Too bad a tooth on my first gear broke off and F*CKED up my tranny yesterday. I was really looking forward to tracking my car.

If you can, still come up to hang out. A couple of guys are bringing friends with them to watch.

Still have Kleemann Stage 2 (ECU, airfilters, headers, pulley) and Kleemann LSD (BUT it is starting to slip). Added about a 60 wetshot. Dyno'ed yesterday at 420hp/470 torque without NOS and 549hp/612 torque with the NOS (SAE corrected). So it made 130 hp and 140 torque on the spray.
Using a hand switch to spray and hitting it as soon as I hook. DR's are about gone and it rained on the track yesterday evening. They did a good job of prepping it but it was still slick hence the 1.9 60ft. My best on that track is a 1.7 60ft. It was also 75 degrees.
Ran last weekend at Valdosta and was getting 12.1's and 12.2's with the heat and humidity. So the spray is taking off .8 seconds. With cooler weather and/or better traction, I think 10's are absolutely possible.

Where did you mount the nitrous nozzles. I believe you are the first E55 to run a wet shot. What made you decide on this vs. dry? I understand there might be risk to the supercharger (bearings, etc) What's your take on this? Congrats on kicking so much A$$!!!!!

My tuner is a master MB mechanic who's been working on MB/BMW for the past 5 years. He took a NOS dry shot kit for a 4.6 liter mustang gt and converted it to a wet shot for the MB. The install is very stealth, you can barely see it.
He "promised" the engine would not blow and beyond that, I have nothing else. I do not know about supercharger wear or bearings or changing oil for that matter. I want 10's and then the kit comes off.
I've looked at tracks around the country that are having Saturday races and 40 degree weather but have not found any yet. I'm almost willing to load up and drive 1000 miles north tomorrow to run somewhere.
In the end, I want the time and if it blows then it blows.
