My new E55! Pics

Wow, what an incredible car. I traded my '04 Cayenne S for this car.

It is a 2003 with 16k miles. Certified MB car.

Keyless Go,
Dynamic Seats
Rear Sunshade
6 CD Changer
And some other stuff.

Great board, hope to be here a long time.

Great find, warranty to 100,000 miles. You're good to go.

Lots of info on this board and be warned, you may get the urge to modify your car.

Never get tired of looking at new Beasts....Congrats!

Any mods planned? Wheels etc.....

From Carbon Fiber to lowering kits.....seems to be massive amounts of things you can do to tweak these cars.

Enjoy.

Yep, it is going away. Since there are so many holes in the bumper, I need to put some kind of plate up there. I am looking for a black carbon fiber plate with chrome AMG on it. Too bad I can't just take off the bracket.

Thanks for all the comments. That car is unbelievable. Even in 108 degree heat (today).

Thanks Peter, that guy is bumperplugs.com. I think mine has too many holes for that. But I will check it out and give him a call.

No mods yet! Still working on getting my 911 mods done. This car is amazing stock, but I know better with Mods. Maybe soon.

Take the mounting plate/bracket off completely - please DON"T put an AMG plate on the front! Your service dept. has plugs for those holes!

Unfortunately, there are four holes for the mounting bracket and two more holes where someone used long screws to mount the plate to the bracket. I think six bumper plugs would look rediculous.

Shy of a new bumper or some sort of plate, I don't think much can be done. I might ask a body shop.
