E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
Oh yeah, lots of em...

mine was an SRS light that wouldn't go off. Took about 4 months off and on to find it. Turned out to be a broken wire in an auxilary harness. Crappy parts, but typical DC era Benz. Worked like a champ after that. Also got a couple check engine lights that were random codes. MB knows of lots of electrical glitches, they just don't want YOU to know about them. My tech told me there were more than a dozen cars on the east coast with my problem (this was after the rep told me they'd never seen it...).But like most Benz cars, the deeper you get in production, the less problems you have.

I think you can say that the deeper you get into production of ANY car, the less problems you have...

I have not had a problem with my E, SL, or ML class MB's (mind you I'm knocking on wood right now).
