I see a lot of talk about the Kleemann, I was wondering if anyone has bought the MKB with the shorter gearing and what they think of it?
Also how much is it? And I would assume the ECU needs to be reprogrammed to accomodate the change in speedo and mileage..

AMG 55, 335i, Mini Cooper S
[QUOTE=JamE55]I believe a member here has done this mod but according to him it wasn't worth it because you'll be bouncing off the redline that the first gear is almost or is useless. Also the price is expensive. Stock AMG i THINK is 3.02.[/QUOTE
I know mine is a 2.81 on a N/A 55 but I believe the supercharged 55's come with 2.65. A 3.02 would be even shorter.

Shorter rear axle cost approx 2500EURO and MKB 45% LSD cost 4300 EURO...
Better get Kleemann 60% LSD...MKB says it offers a faster acceleration...although not to 0-60...but at higher speeds or rolling starts...
