New Audi RS6.....550hp.
So that makes the tally
Audi RS6 V10.............550hp
M5 v10 ................. 500hp
E55 with new N/A V8....?????
We've beat that question to death....really just wanted to chime in with new RS6 numbers.

Audi has made little effort to hide its upcoming BMW M5 fighter, the RS6. We caught it testing at the Nürbur-gring, which means Audi will likely pull the wraps off soon. Right now we know the RS6 will sport similar RS styling cues as seen on the RS4. Like the M5, the RS6 uses a V10 engine displacing about 5.5 liters and producing 550 horsepower.
The tamer S6 will also receive a V10, around 5.2 liters and 440 horsepower. We expect Audi to offer both six-speed automatic and seven-speed direct-shift gearboxes.

i agree that the new grille on the AUDI are so freakin' ugly. i think the older model's grille was sooo much better. but 550hp will make it very interesting. anyone know hp on new e55 or is it e63?

I don't care how much hp it has...I don't want to drive a car that has a grill like a sperm whale.

That AWD makes the car slower.

Well if I was forced at gunpoint to drive one,
I'd at least remove any front plate and paint the "bar" the same color as the body. It's a lot better looking than that Bangle thing.

Don't get confused that was just his signature picture - engine from the back of a CLK-GTR I think.

E55 with new N/A V8 will make around 500hp, a little less or a little more. last time I heard was 496 i think...
the new V8 will actually have 4 different outputs (most of you know this already). first one is in the bi-turbo in S, SL and CL (more than 550hp i think). then comes the most powerful NA in E, CLS, ML and R (around 500). CLK's 6.3L NA V8 will make decent power (i think more than 450) then C's new N/A V8 makes the least power (close to 450).
with that being said, i think i am facing a tough decision like the C32 and C55. would most of you guys buy the new NA V8 or stay with the SC V8?

afterall, if the new E63 will really have around 500hp then its not that hard to make the current E55 reach this range anyway.
