HRE 540 pricing?

$3300 out the door for HRE 540 series in 17x8.5 and 17x10" good deal? Since so many of E class owners have HRE wheels, maybe you guys can chime in on this.

I thought about 18" but the roads here both street and freeway are not just not good for wheels this expensive.

I am just interested in the pricing not sizing.

Dude, 18's are too small for the E-Class, let alone 17's!!!!!

No doubt 17's are way to small, I would only go with 18's or 19's.

I would STRONGLY recommend you to reconsider your selection because:

1. I highly doubt you can even fit 17" wheels on a E55 with those huge 8-piston calipers.
2. Even if they do fit, the 17's are really WAY too small for a E55.
3. The 540 series have a "step lip" design. The center piece is really like 15". Your car will look very funny with those wheels on.
4. Unless you have no plan on selling those wheels in the future or you're okay to flush $3300 into the toilet, think about it, who would want to buy a set of 540 series HRE in 17"??? What other car would fit with those sizes and offsets?
5. Price-wise, I can probably do better than that.

Hey, finally someone who knows HRE pricing is on...

I was thinking about the AMG brakes as well, if it can clear I can even use it as a track wheel. I am putting this wheel on a non AMG btw, but most importantly... how much can you get me the wheels for? Please send me a PM for my email, man...you guys never answer the e-mails I'd send before.:v

Uhm if the roads are in such bad shape, is it even worth it at all dropping that much money on HRE's? No one uses 17in wheels as track wheels....

Hey guys, I appreciate all the inputs on sizing, but I need inputs on PRICING only.

I personally check ALL e-mails (in and out) that have been sent to our accounts everyday before I go to sleep. Sometimes I might miss one or two. But I never answer e-mailS from you? Ummm....thats strange. Please send me a blank e-mail with the subject line "HRE540" to harris@hartonmotorwerks.com. I will reply as soon as possible.

Btw, I apologize that I havent noticed your car is not an AMG (cause you're posting your question on the E55 board).

I can vouch for that! Not only does Harris read his emails, but he is also quick on responding.

i dont want to be rude but without a reverse drop lip hre 17's would look like 15's as was already said. just b/c you posted here we assumed you had an e. no biggie so what car is this for? if it is for an e of some type, no offense but it would look rediculous. it would be a good drag wheel as alum is heavier than rubber but for solocross it would be horrible as youd have a huge sidewall. just interested though.
