yeah the part number doesnt come up but im 99.999% positive that the 49 is the exhaust system group number. the 49 is the same for all mb's. heres how you brake down the part number:

211 491 03 00

211 is the chassis
49 is the group number the part will fit (in this case the exhaust system)
1 is a further classification within the group (in this case the exhaust system)
03 is the part version
00 is the actual part number

Is that part deleted because of the K2, or you simply decided to take it off for more sound? Did it improve the sound by removing it?

just playin ricky, not sore. here is a pic of the top half of the resonator. i have the evo not the k2. evo sells the replacement pipes, together with headers add 30hp or so. the res deletes mainly add a more baratone sound.

If you don't need it anymore, you could give it to Ricky for his trophy

I've been considering taking off the resonators on my car for a while. Mainly its been a debate over whether to get a new system alltogether (Eisenmann?) or just remove the res's. If I were to remove them, how many are there? Which ones should I remove? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
