That list really doesn't include all that I ordered on it there was an array of things that most likely left out... There was alot to choose from carpet to the color of the tach... I didn’t think it was worth 3K for Shurcia Shields *Spelling* I forgot about them... red *Black Slandered* I’m still debating over the shields though.... The sat nav that will be available will most likely be like the Gallardo it wont work in the Us for the 1st year

The Scuderia shields are very popular and will help the resale in most cases. $3k is too much, you might want to re-check the price, they were only $1354.00 on a 360 Spyder. Have you seen the French video of the 430 Spyder on ferrarichat.com? It's a dark metallic car, stunning! I don't think it's nero, though, more of a dark grey, probably one of the "grigios".

this guy is a sponsor on one of the ferrari boards that im on and he sells shields. alot of the members have bought from him and have been extremely happy. heres some pics of a few guys that got the aftermarket ones:

Yes I saw that one. But it either looked like Blu Medio Metallico or maybe it was Canna di Fucile Metallico *The original name sounds so much more sexy to me :v*

If you look closely at the factory shields, the fenders are recessed, and the ceramic sheilds are set inside the recess. The aftermarket shields are just glued on to the fender. In what might be the craziest re-badge I've ever seen, there's a guy in my town with these aftermarket Ferrari shields on the fenders of his CLK500. Didn't fool me, though.

I was thinking the same thing to me the OEM ones looked like they were stamped into the fender. CLK500 w/Ferrari Badges

Looks like it could be Grigio Silverstone as well. Either way, the Nero Metallico is incredible, and you hardly ever see it.

I've heard from some people around town that the guy w/the "shielded" CLK500 is a retired Ferrari factory driver.

I agree, flat black totally hides the lines and best features of a car like the 360 or 430. Looks great on E55s and S55s, though!

shields were originally only placed on ferraris that actually raced, which means only a fraction of ferraris had them. then people started catching on and wanted the shields for their non-race ferraris. ferrari started offering it as an option and of course aftermarket ones came next.

i have seen two types of aftermarket ones - the sticker/glue type and a magnetized version.

theres also 2 schools of thought on the shields - those who like them and those who dont. the ones that dont like them say they wreck the lines of the car, are similar to how a honda has all those dumb stickers on them and that they take away from the value of the car when going to sell. these people also usually debadge their cars fully and dont want logos and **** all over their cars.

then theres the people who like them. they like the way it screams out "Ferrari" and that is has the racing appeal to it. some get them from the dealer as an option, others go aftermarket so they have the ability to remove later.

as far as the shields being recessed, yes they do come like that to a degree but there are different variations. the 288gto and f40 are models where the shield was completely recessed that leaves the shield flush with the fender and then theres the f355 style that leaves the shield somewhat protruding. im not sure what style the 430 will have.

That's interesting, looks like a dark gray. I like. Earlier, when I was referring to flat black, I meant non-metallic black, like MB's 040. I do think that color tends to obscure the curves on cars such as the 360. Looks slick on sedans, though. Nothing like a stealth black E55 or S55.
