This is sad... we need a new house!

Hi all,
Well, how sad is this. Wolf and I just spent an entire meal discussing how our next house we have to build ourselves so we have exactly what we need in it. Were we discussing bedrooms? A wine cellar? Media room? No, we need to build our own house as we want at least a 6-8 car garage. Are your wives like this?

Well my wife picked the entire decor of the house and what not. We have a full Media Room with sound deadening materials in the walls and what not. A 8 car garage (we Indians have a lot of junk to store lol), 2 master bedrooms, 2 guest rooms, 3 rooms for the kids of which 2 are currently used. I dont plan on having kids anytime lol. 2 is more than enough.

A family room, living room, formal dining area, pool, 2 balconies, a large patio around the pool, and too much other stuff lol. She wants a bigger house too. I already have a hard time finding anything we have in the house and honestly 6K square feet is plenty big to be honest. I mean we did need a large house since my parents live with us but to be honest something around 4 or 5K would have been plent large and we sure as hell did not need a pool or two balconies but since we were custom building it, we figured why the hell not. A few thousand dollars more in the grand scheme of things was not going to be a big deal.

So yes, MY WIFE IS LIKE THIS.

But the difference here is needing more of other things. My house is plenty big enough for everything EXCEPT the bloody cars. We determined tongight there is absoltely no way we could park 2 E class or even my E55T and a SL55 in our garage. Sad!

We are building a home currently and my suggestion was that it should be a two bedroom house with a ten car garage. What? I'd sleep in the garage. Needless to say it's not going to happen.

Large enough to park the E55T straight and still have almost a whole foot before the wall and we have to park the SLK55 at an angle or you cannto open the door of the E without hitting the SLK. We have the Mustang in the 3rd car garage but you cannot park the SLK in that if you pull it in nose first and still open the door and if you try to back it in you hit the front of the nose on the driveway

My garage is tight as well... but you can't angle them like a "V" like this?

We have a ****ty garage as well. It's a '3' car garage, but once you park two in, one of the cars needs to be moved for the third to get out.

It's like this

X
XX
---

Where X is the car and --- is the garage door.

BUy one of the homes off placerita canyon and sand canyon. They are absolutely gorgeuos. They are Fing huge. 2 garages. 1 connected to the house, which is a 3 car, then one off to the side which is 3 car. Huge driveway, atleast 2-5 acres of land.

Have you ever considered a garage lift for the Mustang? If you have enough clearance you could lift one and park under the other.

We added a "carriage house" to our house. Two bedrooms and a gameroom over a 4 car garage. The only thing the kids bother are the cars. I'm now looking at building another garage/ plant room to keep our tropical trees during the winter. There's never enough space for cars or junk.

Now see Schiz, this is my dream garage EXCEPT it would have to be a double deep! Wish we had 3 seperate garages Is my envy showing? As far as a lift in the garage it won't work as the garage is only 9 feet tall.
