Question Want to put a deposit on an E55...

Does anyone know of any So. Cal. dealers with realitively short waiting lists? I called one place and they said it would probably be a year after the car comes out before I get mine. I'm kinda hoping would be able to get it sooner... a lot sooner.

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

I think you are too late, if you wanted an E55 soon youshould have put a deposit down a year ago at least. But one year after the debut is pretty good. A dealer in Oregon told me that it was over 3 years. Which dealer told you 1 year?

I put a deposit on a new 06 E55 last thursday and was told to expect to wait 3-6 months at most. This is from a large dealer in Florida.

this is bs.

call around CA dealers. There should not be a waiting list. You will have to wait for your ordered car. But should be no wait list for build slot.

Laguna Niguel, Fletcher Jones are the two highest volume dealers in California. So I am sure they can order one pretty quickly since they get quite a few build spots.

EXACTLY. I wanted a E55 at a good price at the end of Q1 (March). Fletcher Jones had 2 (Fletcher Jones is the largest MB dealership in the nation and they had 2 on the lot a week ago), MB of Laguna Nigel had 1, Caliber Motors in Anaheim had 1, Mercedes-Benz of South Bay in Torrance had 1, and House of Imports in Buena Park had 2. That's just in Orange County. The car (as well as the CLS55) can be had... they're on the lots. If not, they'll take your order (just expect to pay MSRP or more for that).

Waiting list? C'mon... Southern California is car country...

My uncle just walked onto the lot, found one, and bought it for 2500 off sticker. Was a dealership in South Bay I think. 1 year wait is rediculous.
