.........nice thread. Mine was a 1979 Honda Civic. Had fun in that car. The car was so small, when the wind blew hard, I had to stop for fear of the car being blown away by the wind.

ERINIC- you painted the rotors blue? That might explain the problem with it stopping before hitting a tree!

I'm betting I had the fastest car here. It was a 1981 (I think) VW Rabbit DIESEL. I think the car's top speed was about 80mph and that took me about 30 minutes to reach going down hill with a tail wind. My real first car that I only drove on weekends was a 1967 Mustang Vert that I still own today. It's going through a bit of a change right now. Here's a progress picture.
