They're LOUD, that's all I can say about run flats. My GS300 AWD came with run flats...they blow.

My local carwash pinch-flatted the sidewall of my Michelin PS2?

Carwash? What's a carwash?

houston that photo is the S02 not 3! (my honda s2000 has the s02)

if i had my druthers i would have shod my c32 with s03's. they have a stiffer side wall vs the PS2s. you need that with the mass of these cars
(my 3000gt spyder is 4000 lbs and has 255/40 S03 and i just love these tires)

also....you cannot swop the ps2s from side to side to even out wear.

s03's in a heartbeat for me- but i don't care about tramlining or ride comfort.

anther reason i like the s03s is the greater rim protection is has vs the ps2. the shoulders are more square and the tirewall extends out a bit more.

either me or my wife did some curb rashing on my right front rim in just one month and despite being careful 235/35 ps2 mounted on 8.5 in rim

yeah...plus the mitchelin farce at USGP....go give your $ to bridgestone.

I ordered my 19" PS2's on ASA ST4's from Tire Rack on March 15th and they just arrived yesterday. I tried several other tire dealers during my wait and I was told they were backordered nationwide.

They were worth the wait though... I really like them so far... I'm hoping to get more miles from them than I did on my POS Conti's.

Anybody who takes their E55 to a carwash, deserves what they get: paint swirls, scratches, pinched tires, stolen CD's....

To start with, you should have mounted 245/35/19 on 8.5" rims. To wonder you scraped it, its too narrow for the rim!

It's just a car! At any rate, I will not waste my time washing my daily driver. Wait a minute, I don't even wash my weekend car.

It's obvious that to you it's just a Stuttgart Taxi... You should have bought a yellow diesel instead, it's a better daily driver... LOL

My PS2s are great. I have run 11.9 on them; sound and cornering are very good as well.

For what it’s worth, I talked to the Michelin rep at the M-class rally this weekend about the extra load designation on the rears for the 211-E55. He looked in his fitment book and then looked in the Michelin product book and he couldn’t find a properly rated tire in the PS2 line or any line for the car. Maybe that’s why the label on the car say to use only Continentals or Dunlops.

Unfortunately, a yellow diesel E-class is harder to get than an E55 in my neck of the woods. Nevertheless, at the end of the day, it just a car. It does not matter if it has 1000 hp, it still a sedan that you see everyday, at least where I live.

Dunlops?

Does anybody run Dunlops? If so, do you like them? My 847R's will be here either tomorrow or Wed. I want to make sure I get a smooth, quiet ride. Most people suggest the PS2's but I'd like to hear from people who run Dunlops too. Thanks everybody.

The worst thing that has happened is a punctured tire and the car wash picked up the tab for not just one, but two replacement tires (PS2's) for my E55. It really depends the establishment.

my exp w dunlops runs back to the venerable d40m2 circa 1990...awesome tire.

i have sp8000s on a commuter and the sidewall rolls. i think this is a gen criticism of the dunlops.
