So why do we need LSD again???

i just got my ecu back from evo and am breakin the ecu in with nice hard acceleration and smoky burnouts. so when i look behind me and see two crisp black rubber trails, whats the need for lsd on the track???

I would think not much on the 1/4 track But the 99.9% of the time you are driving your car on a daily basis it would and if you ever track your car other then 1/4 runs.

I heard is it's a "forced" 2 tire burnout. Benz ECU senses spin on one tire and adds braking to it while simulaneously transfering some power to the other tire....when that one spins, ECU will start to shut down throttle body just slightly. All that equals a few tenths or perhaps more slower times on the track.

Just my 2 pennies worth......that sound about right techies.
