Who Can Remove Our Top End Limiter

I am stock and happy with my quarter mile et 11.95 at 30 degrees fahrenheit and 12.16 at 70 degrees. I just want avoid being passed by a vette or car that will exceed 155 mph.

I think the cheapest way to remove your speed limiter is send your ECU to Oliver @ speedtuningusa.com and for $395 you can have your limiter removed.

But before trying a VMAX run, make sure you know what you're getting into. Even with XL load Y-rated tires, the last thing you would want is a tire failure at those kinds of speeds.

I would strongly recommend not using speedtuningusa. Oliver will have your a/f ratios running unbelievably rich and I honestly don't think he knows what he's doing.

Send it to Kleemann and Brandon or Cory will totally take care of you. Ask anyone else on this board and they will tell you the same thing.

I sent my ecu to Oliver at speedtuningusa.com and the car was a total pig afterwards. I have since resent my ecu to Kleemann and the car picked up serious speed and is much more beastly.

I also agree with onesixeight, be sure to pick up some top rated tires (PS2's or something similar) if you are going to drive over 120mph.

Only AMG can make a good job with Vmax derestriction.

Of course you'll find a lot of people here telling that this tuner or this garage can do it for you but you'll find many cars going to Affalterbach to be fixed because of problems with tuned ECU. Some problems were really dangerous like keeping accelerating even if you lift the throttle.

This is almost verbatim what happened to me at Kleemann USA in Co.

First Dyno run..Car at 490 with ECU and K&N.....Brandon is puzzled and checks A/F..."Holy F dude, you are pouring fuel into this car....wayyyy too rich"

He has (just to show the difference in ECU's) Cory go and flash with the Kleemann program.

Just ECU alone from Klee.....we run dyno again..516hp. 26hp increase over speedtuningusa...and a S-load more responsive.

This is true but people don't seem to worry about those "minor" details

How much for the Kleemann program?

Also, Anyone have part #s for the K&Ns for the E55. Is it the same as the E500?
