Can you drive on the street and HWY speeds for a distance to get to the track with the dr's on? I would think having 16" rims on the back and 19" on the front may cause some issues.

I know when I had my front rim fixed the dealer told me that if I needed to put my stock 18" rims back on I should not drive my car with 18" on the front and 19" on the back. Never had to do that since they fixed my rim while I waited.

Do most of us just change your rears at the track when running dr's?

 

The car will be fine with the DR's, it will just handle like sh*t. When I took the Mustang to the track I would put the smaller wheels on the back (15"rear and 17" in front) and drive up to the track with no problem. Make sure you guys post when you're going. I want to try and meet up with you guys if I can.

I proposed a track rental at MIR but they have a "one lane only rule" for rentals unless you put up almost double the money. If you go on a normal street night (Fri) or a Sun test and tune date then both lanes are open. Check out the schedule for Test and Tune dates and maybe that will work out. Let me know. What tires are mouned on your CCW wheels....are they mickey thompson drag radials or bias ply e.t. streets?

Was in Atlanta all week on business and just flew in tonight so no go in the AM. Tomorrow is also my 10 year wedding anniversary Hard to imagine that someone has put up with me for a decade under the same roof!
