My parktronics are acting up all of sudden. When I turn on my car I get the immediate solid tone and double reds on both sides. I have to hit the defeat switch to turn it off but then I can't use it. Anybody have any experience in clearing this malfunction? I really do not want to go to the dealer especially with all the mods on my car.

Hey buddy. Don't sweat it, this is a common problem, has happened to me and others. Take it to the dealership, the problem with the parktronic has nothing to do with your mods.

Sounds like u have some faulty parktronic sensors. If I'm not mistaken, all your bodywork looks stock, so I doubt they can argue that your wheels or brakes is causing your parktronic problems.

Apparently when one of my wires had rusted out and was causing the malfunction. They fixed it in half a day and ran the costs under warranty.
