Uh, why would I want to find out and chase whatever trend is going on? The stock wheels look better to most people than the 90% of the blingy crap people put on their cars. Why spend money to F up the look if you're not getting lighter wheels or more traction?

p.s. on the ccw site, it says pricing starts at $2495/set. I'm assuming that's for 18" wheels, John giving you a hook up on the 19's?
John is a really good guy and tends to quote $2,400 for most of his wheels.

Don't have the time to snif out "deals" on car wheels. If you can pay for the car you should be able to pay for the correct accessories.
Wow..Its not about sniffing out any deals...Those prices you paid are like full retail...thats all..I'm sure any wheel experts/salesmen will tell you the same thing...just dont like seeing people get jacked..thats all

oz superleggera 3s, kleemann ts-6, or some avus would be great for a street wheel i think, and they have classy, seemingly functional (?) designs . i know the superleggera 3's and ts-6 are lightweight even in 19's, plus they frame the 8-piston silver caliper well

regardless of size? That seems like strange business dealings to me...I'm sure he's a good guy, but how can he do that?

By the way, if you find the OZ SL3, Kleemann TS6, or the Renntech wheels for your price range, I want your hook up

Oh, and to Genova, I just paid $6k for my new HRE wheels (20" 940R) and I got a certain % back due to my resale license and the wheel company I own. So I'm not sure what you're talking about. Show me a private party who bought a new set of HRE wheels at more than 20-25% back

Accompli-man... Given you're just trying to reduced unsprung weight to get better performance, and that you are happy with the look of the OEM wheels, why not spend the $3K on some chip and pulley work and just boost HP to get the better performance??

Good thought but I'm concerned about voiding the warranty. Lighter wheels can have a positive impact on performance without increased stress on the engine or warranty issues.

Fair enough.... Well you could also start by throwing that boat anchor of a battery out of the trunk and getting something lighter there :-)

Does Optima have a battery that we can use instead of our "boat anchor of a battery" out?

I would personally NEVER EVER go with IForged. In my experience, the quality of the wheels aren't really there, and their customer service is worse. I know a VERY, VERY select few with IForged that came out pretty well. As a general company, I wouldn't trust them. Just my 2 cents

Quite a lot of people.

Most resellers get 30% off while there are two shops (I think) that get 35% off.
Not everyones trying to rip everyone else off. :p

I agree with BenzoBoi, iForged just isn't in the game.

I have great experience with iforged...at least with their distributor anyways. I ordered a set through D2autosports and the owner is very nice to deal with, gave me a good price and answered my questions in a timely matter. I would never deal with iforged directly mainly because I can get great results from a good dealer, and iforged is not known to have a good service as it seems.

P.S.
The wheel finish is high quality and very light weight. They are custom made in any size and width to my specs, that's part of the reason I went with it.

ha, ha, ha... Post some pictures so that we all can learn something.
We have all seen how you guys butchered the Aussie-made Monaro and turned it into a very "tastefully done" Pontiac GTO. Beauty, mate! :
