Okay, got the new E63 0-60 numbers...er ehh sort of.
Okay the new ML63 is rated at 4.9 0-60 That tank is 4730lbs.
So I plugged in a simple math cross equation.
If current E is 4237, then no blower takes off 200lbs instantly, thus 4037.
SO, you do the math and new 0-60 for E63.......4.1.
Okay okay...I know, the factors couldn't be more inaccurate.....but WHAT IF!!!!

The other thing which is difficult to factor is that the E63 will have some tweaks to engine and/or exhaust systmen compared to the ML63 which would probably give it better performing results.

So say the new 6.3L tips the scales at 4000 even.... then it will be one quick beast.
Amg does not make slower cars so it will likely be faster than a stock E55k

It of course isn't that simple... thousands of factors involving exhaust, traction, frontal area, etc. will mess with it. Given how Mercedes have assigned 0-60 ratings, I would guess they'd give the new E63 4.5 or 4.6 s to 60 mph, perhaps 4.7. You have to remember Mercedes tends to be very conservative.

As you guys all probably know, the 0-60 time really doesn't tell a whole bunch. Traction & traction mgt issues factor in too much to give a really good idea of the car's straight line performance. 1/4 mile stats (esp. the trap speed) really tell the story of how things will go in roll on races between cars. There are some incredibly powerful, modded Vipers that can't beat (or even match) the stock Viper's 0-60 time because they can't put all the power to the ground off the line. They trap much higher in the 1/4 mile though and in any street situation, they'd easily get away from the stock version.
