Mustang Help

I know this is the E55 forum, so shoot me

My friend has a V6 Mustang (no V8 due to insurance, he's gotten quite a few wrecks) and he's looking for a few go-fast mods.

I know a lot of guys here have Stangs with some really nice mods, so I was wondering if you could help me out, to help him.

He could get an underdrive pulley. It will free up some of his horsepower and isn't too expensive (under $100) you can also get a cold air intake off ebay for about $50. that will give you a little more power.

He won't do anything massively major, he still wants his warranty intact

Benzondubz, I know what he can do, but do you know where to get the parts at a good price?

He's looking at some Monotube Blue which is 500$ but includes all these new senors and crap.
Also a K&N CAI for 200$.

I think that stuff is just balony though at that price for this car. Any good websites for some gains? A pulley is a really good idea!

He's got a little less than a grand right now in his checking account.

If I could get him some mods that'll get him to about another 100hp that'd be awesome for his budget!

Pulley, cold air intake and headers. Don't forget to chip it.

I understand all that, it's just basics of Modding 101, but what companies and from where should I purchase that stuff from?

Is there a certain company you'd suggest, or a certain site you've had experience with?

Thanks bro, really appreciate it.

It looks like he'll get about 20hp from the pully + belt + intake.

The headers are another 300 roughly but it doesn't say the gains on that.

Same with the chip, about 300, but doesn't say the gains.

I have two questions
1) Does anyone know the estimated gains of the chips and the headers?
2) Which would you prefer, shorty headers or long tubes. I am under the impression that most folks use long tubes on higher displacement cars a la my old LS400 and the M5 for example.
