Free Cooling Mod

i'd wait to see the effects of this modification underhood. it could disrupt the designed airflow paths around the engine, creating a least resistance path straight up out of the hood. the engine could therefore be relying solely on radiator cooling with no engine surface air convection.
often, underhood airflow paths are designed in the vehicle. Removing seals may expel heat when there's no airflow (no ram air or fans). However, it may not be the case when the vehicle has airflow underhood.

it acts as a towel basically. laying a towel over your engine. hmm last i checked that would heat it up more then cool it down. it should say for free heatsoak, leave me on! your be fine take it off. it maybe a fireblanket, but the last mercedes engine fire on a street car? hmm yea i cant think of any either.
