How old are our fellow E55 owners?

bfnnrgn, welcome
It looks like you bought your car from the same dealer that I bought mine from. Larry R sold mine. He is absolutely the finest automotive professional in the auto business. BTW, I would recommend him for anyone thinking about buying a MB in the DFW area.
I agree with Darren, we all need to plan a get together. I would like to see how the K3 runs.

just an observation....most of the e55 w211 i've seen were driven by much older folks. they aren't part of of this forum and i bet , some may not even know what they're driving....
the ages reported here are going to be massively skewed to the young.

The rims are HRE 845R's. I am still working on the proper fit. A good friend of mine owns a car lot and took them off an SL before he sold it. They are 20 inch rims but the rear tire rubs with any weight in the car. I think it may be because they are to wide, 305/25/20. We have ordered some 285/30/20's to see if it will stop the rubbing. Took them off for now. Hopefully I will get them back on soon because I am getting a steal on them. He made money on the car when he sold it so anything extra for the rims is cool for him. $2000
