Tire Pressures: NEVER trust your dealer!
I was going through some notes on my car and came across something I'd forgotten. I can't believe tire pressures on brand-new vehicles. I asked my rep to make sure the delivery guys double-checked my tire pressures; this is what I got:
LF: 28 PSI RF: 18 PSI
LR: 31 PSI RR: 30 PSI
For reference: factory specs on a 2005 E55 wagon are 36 Front/39 Rear. I'm guessing that many dealers underinflate the tires on AMG cars because a lot of potential customers are put off by the stiff ride.
Moral: no matter WHAT your service people claim, double-check those tire pressures!

My dealer didn't read the under inflation memo. I had 46 psi on the right side and 34 on the left. He must have set the pressures for their oval test drive!
