Ok not a Benz...but MAD PROPS to this car. Thing looks stock until you look under the hood and the turbo is bigger than the engine. I am curious if any one on the forum would ever consider selling your AMG for this car?

yep, seems only Supras, Viper TTs or Grand National can make this kinda of power.
I got spanked by like 20 cars in a street race against my friends LPE C5TT which had 850rwhp and went 9.9@149...he was still impressed with my E55.

Wow, I never thought he would sell that thing.
Very streetable too, though it doesn't have overdrive.
I also love the fact that they are offering a warranty on it. Marko has a VERY solid reputation in the Supra world, so I know he would totally honor that.

Quick question.....is that 0-60mph number true. Top Fuel cars push 8000hp with 0-100 in about .8 secs.
Perhaps it is true with the fact that is only 0-60.....with 2000hp....who knows.
Someday I am gonna go super high hp street machine....wouldn't do it in anything but Vip though.
Hennessey here I come....er ehhh...someday.

Yep its a 3 speed auto. I bet he reaches 60 mph BEFORE or right at his 60-foot time. Usually cars like this have no more than a 1.3 60-foot time.
The 427 LPE C5 twin turbo with 800-1000 hp did a 0-60 in 1.97 sec. This car has double that HP so I think the 1.0 is probably accurate.

I used to get 24-28, depending on driving habits, in my single MKIV.

It's so damn hard to justify buying these Supras unless you find a true gem that has been stuck into some old mans garage for the past 8 yrs.
What you find mostly, is modded, wrecked, repainted etc...
Plus the E55 can haul the wife and baby in style

After being so power-spoiled with the Supra, my main criteria was having something that would hang with a BPU car. Well, I can say with certainty, that the E55 will rock a a BPU on pump gas. And with Kleemann upgrades, I'm sure a small single on pump wouldnt be out of reach.

Don't get me wrong, I would buy another one if came across the perfect gem...
I had a SP57 single on a car I built and would say that an E55 with cooling mods, pulleys and headers could take it on the highway. Both are hard to launch but I would have to give the drag to the E55 also, unless you have an auto with a higher stall on the Supra.
Boy do I miss that car.
