what is the snorkel mod ??
can you guys tell me what the snorkel mod is and what the gains are from it ?? and if you guys have any pics it would be great. thanks for the help

I dont have pics, but it is simply replacing the driver's side intake tube with one from an S-Class. The factory W211 E55 intake tube, or snorkel, has a pinch on it, and the replacement does not. Theoretically, it should allow for more airflow. Personally, I didn't perceive any gains from it.

Save your money....if you want cheap instant HP and response, go K&N's or Green Filters.
You will never feel snorkel mod on seat of pants dyno, but can feel a little with K&N's or Greens. SAVE YOUR OLD FILTERS.....you will wanna switch um out when you go in for service.
