New Purchase

Yeah, I read the same about the GT.....@11.6.
Just curious as to your buying/thought process on the GT. Obviously you can afford about any high dollar car and was wondering why you would pass on Lambo/F430/SL65/SLR. Of course the GT speaks for itself, but those others sure aren't too shabby. I just don't know if I could have made any choice...too many super cars out there I WANT.
I am begging for pics AND video so I can hear the sound.
Congrats.

I don't know how I decided. All the cars you mentioned are great. The F430 coupe would have realistically cost me 30K more for the same performance (GT is a little faster in a straight line but the F430 is better in turns and braking) and the GT is lower in statue. This was my toughest choice because the ferrari is clearly more refined than the GT. The Lambo would have cost me a little less than the GT but there is a difference in performance and I am starting to see more of them on the road (my buddy just got a yellow one). The SL 65 would have been the fastest qtr mile car but they are clearly not a road car in the sense of the GT (heavier with related handling and braking) I also understand that they lose value fairly quickly. The SLR is clearly out of my range for what I would pay for a car.
Overall, to me the GT was the best looking "race car like" that had the best potential to hold its value well. Again, I am not knocking any of these cars. It is a matter of personal taste. For the money, I still think the E55 does it best.

Goodluck and can't seem wait to see hear dome feedback.
Goodluck and can't seem wait to see hear dome feedback.I pursued some of the 5k over list on ebay and every other source I could find. All have proven to be false, misleading or "send me the money and wait". I could not try anymore so I went with the cheapest over list offer I could find that was from a reputable source (a ford dealer). If you actual find a real deal please let me know. I think you will find what I did; once you get serious, the facts change. Good luck
