It does bring up the idea of twincharging the E55, since it is clutch operated and can be bypassed once the turbo's would spool. Replacing the S/C w/ turbos has been discussed, but never twincharging. Imagine the possibilities...

Man, thats some serious fabrication work! I'd like to hear it! Its certainly capable of making huge power, provided the internals are seen to. The Drivetrain will have to be beefed up as well if the full potential is to be realized.

Okay, being at high elevation, I have to ask. Is there any way conceivably that you could add turbos to the blower system on the 55? I just die up here with the blower....wondering if STUFFING the blower with air would help make me even stock hp at elevation. Wouldn't need much boost...just a little to get me to factory sea level air specs. Am I off on my thinking with this.

Gentlemen,
There is no reason to do this on our 55s. You can make more power than our trans can hold with just the supercharger we have. It'll just take some time for us to get to that level.
