Which remote system did you get?
You most likely just have to reprogram the key fob....

BUMP!
Anybody else here crazy enough to do this? I gave in and ordered a solid set. Told myself NO on many occasions for months BUT come summer and bicyclists are way too out of control around here. Moron drivers in their scion xb/prius need a lesson too.

Just my 2 cents....be careful.
Let me give you a possible scenario that might or might not have occurred. Someone was in a galaxy, far, far away, with their truck, at a red light. The truck owner and friends in the truck thought it was funny to honk their loud horn when a family of 6 was walking in the crosswalk in front of them (mom, dad, baby, toddler and grandparents). That loud horn might or might have caused physical harm to the baby (a few months old); granddad (who was wearing a hearing aid); scared the mom to the point that when she jumped up in the air she actually sprained her ankle (and missed work for some time, husband laid off from job and was on unemployment, so she was sole income earner); and a toddler now afraid of trucks (when the toddler used to play with trucks all the time). After the loud horn, the light went green but the family was still in the cross walk. When the truck went around the family to leave and ignored all attempts by the family and witnesses for the truck driver and friends to stay, the truck driver and friends might or might not have been charged with leaving the scene of an accident and that lead to criminal charges. The witnesses were those that also endured the loud siren and unsuccuessfully tried to stop the truck from leaving. The physical injury to the family and emotional scare to the toddler was verified by independent doctors and experts in a civil and criminal lawsuit. The civil and criminal case put an emotional, physical and financial toll on the family and friends of the truck driver. Now.....well, lets say that in this story that truck driver regrets ever getting that horn and the friends regret being in the truck. Lets also add that in my story I am the neighbor to the truck driver and was with the truck driver at his or her house when the police came to arrest him/her and their friends. Finally in my story, lets pretend that I was supboenaed in both the civil and criminal case to testify about what the truck driver and friends told me what happened after the incident.
I do not mean to ruin anyone's fun or put any comment on lawyers or the judicial system with this reply. I am just sharing my pretend story and my 2 cent suggestion to be careful with these horns.

No offense, but the fictional truck driver mustve been a complete idiot to let it rip at a family, especially with a baby and an old man. Wow..
I'm not looking to drive around blasting the horn at random people and stupid cars. After almost being ran off the road the other week by a bicyclist and a few hours later another cutting me off at a rotary - Im done with them. And "cutting them off" isnt really an option. Honestly, my frustration level with those idiots is beyond.
I do understand the point you're making with the truck driver. Thats just horrible.

LoL. You love these horns man! Good stuff.
Small world, I've seen vids of your Previa many times on youtube. Thing is starting to look like a train it sounds so much like one.
If you're still around with a setup like that I think I'll be fine lol.

Update. I had the train horn in my E55 years ago when I started this thread under my old screen name. Now I have a C63 and I'm thinking about throwing a horn kit in the trunk again. Anybody else put train horns in an AMG since I did it back then?
