Pictures of new E55K
Hi Guys,
Last Friday I picked up my new '06 E55K. (Premium, Satellite radio) I had owned an 02/CLK55 for 3 years.
I have only driven my car for a few miles and I can already tell you that this generation of cars is way better than the previous one. I enjoyed my CLK55 but this car is just in another league.
Attached you will find some pictures.

congrats, my dream car..
btw.. many will disagree with me, but do it a favor and keep it stock.. I would say an ECU is the only "mod" I would consider doing on that car. But all of this tampering with the wheels, engine, hood ornaments, etc is just putting a mustache on the Mona Lisa.. I just think it's the most perfect W211 sold, why tamper with it?

I agree. I've had a couple of Porsche's prior to my E55 and almost all wheels are a downgrade from stock Porsche wheels. I'm new to the E55 so haven't researched whether the stock E55 rims are forged or cast. Forged are obviously superior and more expensive. I've seen guys take off forged rims and put on inferior cast rims. The more intricate the design the weaker the cast rims are. You won't catch me going much over 100mph on a cast rim!!

Thanks to all
Hi Guys,
Thanks to all for your comments.
I just recently relocated from CA/Orange County to JAX/FL.
Around Orange County/CA you might want to stand out and customize your car so you will not be one of many. Here in JAX/FL there are not that many MB, forget about AMG cars.
In any case I don't think I will ever need more than 469hp.
I like to keep him stock!

Yes, my car is stock.
The dealer did mention that they were able to install the satellite antenna in a better place that is not the hood.
