The writers at Car & Driver, who have more experience collectively testing cars than you've been polluting this planet, already noted the huge gains made with the seven speed transmission over the five speed in both the CLS500 and the SLK55 in their road tests, and you know it, because I already cited, and quoted, these articles.

But as usual, you cannot engage in honest debate as pointed out above, Sherwin.

Why Xantium? I think Singh is a rogue employee from a Dell Call Center located in Mohali near the Chandigarh metropolitan area in India's Punjab province.
The story goes that Singh-dude lost it during intense additional traning by Dell for its India staff due to lackluster service. Singh is a burned up Dell employee on the edge....... a little side effect of globalization.

Trust me, this is him. I checked around, and the deal is that he was stupidly and carelessly using his work email address on one of the forums he trolls--not the smartest thing to do given the amount of animosity he seems to revel in stirring up...well, he stirred up the wrong people, I reckon.
