Nice Aftermarket Parts from Japan
1. Black Chromed Trunk Emblems:
2. Black or Silver CF Trunk Lid Spoiler (Shown on a R230 but could also be done for a W211)
Would you consider any of these mods?
Forgot to mention that I have these installed in my new car and they do look great:
CF Door Lock Pins:

Ricky,
First of all, don't come to conclusion in such a hurry. Since when does posting your mods or potential mods become an advertisement and are banned from the forums?
I'm not affiliated with the company. A fellow board member (White Bullet S55) recommended this site a while back to me and I ordered a couple things from them. I'm just a satisfied customer, nothing more. I have no monetary gains by referring people to this website.
Hell, I have not posted their website and they don't even ship overseas. I myself have to use a shopper service in Japan to order these items. Since most of the members on this board do not read Japanese, I'm just providing a means of showing new items from the other side of the world for MB fans here in the States. If they're interested, I can point them in the right direction. Since when does that become advertising? I thought that is called customer referral. Quite a few board members would recommend install shops, audio shops, and what not to other board members, does that also constitute advertising?
Speaking of being a sponsor, Peter Lee of WheelExperts is not a sponsor for the forum, yet Luke@Tirerack is still referring business to him. Is that considered advertising for a non-sponsor? How about the last post in this thread? https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...82#post1271382 Is this an advertisement? If you some how held me to a different standard than these two gentlemen, I would suggest the mods to revoke your right as a mod, since you obviously don't appreciate the efforts of other board members. Maybe if I were your buddy........

Why go order black emblems from "japan" when you can get them from the dealer and ask a local shop to paint it? I had mine painted by the body shop I go to and it was cheap as heck...Just my 2 cents.

What paint? I'm confused. I thought chromed parts are anodized and paint wouldn't stick. Am I wrong? Your input in greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure exactly what to tell you or how it's done. But I just took a new set of emblems to the body shop I usually go to and asked them to just paint 'em black. That's all I said and they knew what to do...Sorry I can't be more in-depth...

W211 homepage for that Japanese shop
This page show a lot of good stuff for our W211 chk it out....too bad they don't ship. Yen Rate is good for us now, will be cheaper for us to order from them if they ship direct to us....too bad.
