Spero, I did find your car and the wheels look great!! The cost doesn't bother me as much as the weight.

Thank you for the link. I think those would look better on an E55 than the Lexus.

Jam, I went to the Inden Design web page. It appears to be an overseas company, do they have a US division?

Rock,

Not sure if they have a US Division or not but you may want to contact Peter at Wheelexperts and see what he says. He might be able to help. Just click the link on my sig.

Peter @ wheelexperts is definitely someone you should call for any advice on rims. He is VERY helpful and will help you choose the best set of wheels for your ride. I'm sure many on the board can vouch for him...including me

none of those are nearly as strong as my hre's and my hre look way better.... thay dont look like i got them from the dealer...the bbs lm is also very nice but it looks kinda small b/c of the way its put together
hre- worth the money and the wait

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
LM's for me too...

probably one of the most beautiful wheels ever designed. Light, strong, and true. Far lighter and stronger than the AMG (Ronal) wheels, as they are forged and not cast. They are also easily repairable as they can be disassembled. Yes, the Inden wheels do look fantastic, but I think you'd have to deal with them directly, which may be a bit scary for some folks. Also, what do you do about a possible warranty issue, and I'm almost sure you'd have some interference with the biggest sizes. Look at thier webpage for some of the fender modifying they have to do....

I can second that! Carlsson 1/16 Ultralight are the most beautiful wheels...and the are 40% less weight compared to a cast wheel in the same size.

Here's a close-up view of this stunning wheel:

My vote is for Carlsson Rims as well. Specifically the 2/5 rims in 18 or 19 inch.

MMGrad on this forum has them, and they're not cheap.

They're sick! As you can see:

Personally, out of the 2 I would say the BBS wins in this case. A classic style. I like the AMG 2pc wheel but when spending 4+K on wheels, i've always felt they should not be a factory option that anyone can get from the dealership.

However, I would agree with the others that the HRE C20 would possibly be an even better option thanks to sub-20 lb weights for 19" diameters. Plus customizable offsets can allow you the use of 285/30 rear tires without fender modifications.

Depends on which design you choose and what size. Some of them can be VERY heavy and some (like the 1/16) can be VERY light.
