Thoughts: 255/40/18 and 275/35/18 PS2s

I need some new rubber and I can't decide on the 255/40 or 245/40 in the front. I think both will fit. I'm comfortable with the 275s on the rear.

What does everyone think of upping the front as well as the rear by 10mm? Will the balance of the car change? I do not want the front to have way more grip than the rear and for the car to want to swap ends on me...

Will it even matter?

TIA

I put the 275's on the rear of mine, but I kept the 245's front just because I think it might mess with handling if you go wider. Also, will 255's fit on the front?

Go with the 255 in the front with the stock rims and 285 in the rear. The car will handle better surprisingly.

I think they will. Might have to get that fender rolled ever so slightly but it should fit Bob.

'03 G500, '13 G63, '17 GLS63,
I just put some 275/35/18 Drag Radials on mine. No problems so far.

THe PS2 is the best tire I have seen to date. For the rainy months I prefer the Pilot Sport A/S though on my 18" AMG rims.

Looks like I'm going with 255 and 285 on the stock rims.

Thanks for the advise.
