It is possible. Kleemann in Colorado was going to do this exact same swap with a C320 4-matic. They put the project on the back burner becasue they've been so busy. Yes, it did but it was a pretty big project. Took us three nights in the workshop. But the result was well worth it. I still daily drive this car. 386K miles on the original engine and trans! Still going strong!
