What's an E60? Is that an W210 AMG model that didn't make it to the states?

W210 E60 AMG
The W210 E60 1996-97 has the M119 block and emanated from the W210 E50. As I understand, AMG (pre-purchase by the factory) bored-out 10% of total production for the W210 E class. They also excepted this in units of 10 at a time and mounted them into different chassis and body numbers. Hence, when ordering parts the Identifying numbers do not match with the Factory and their data card; I also understand from research that the factory only produced 2,154 or 84 total units. So there are 200+ units out there. Variants are the T's and the E's and some with bored to 6.3L (very rare). I have a E60 AMG here in the Philippines and traced it back to a Gentleman that had it assembled to his personal preferences. It had made it's way to Japan and subsequently to me. The main difference with the E55 is the block and they have improved on the issues during the time of production to the W210.
