Uneven Tread Wear
Is anyone else experiencing uneven tread wear on their tires? The insides of my tires are wearing much faster than the outside - especially in the rear.

When I went in to mount new rubber on the wheels they told me this is caused by (if I can recall corrctly) misalignment. They offered me to diagnose and repair it, but I refused because I needed to get to work quick on that day... and disregarded it since.

Negative camber is the culprit !!! It is dialled in so your tires wear evenly when you push the throttle and also drive quickly thorough the twisties !!!! Mine wear perfectly !!! I have an M5 E34 we bought new in 1990 and we had to ask BMW Motorsport for a solution because the fronts were wearing more on the outside.... they told me either I drove a lot slower
or ordered their kit to increase negative camber by a half degree !!! Perfect wear ever since !!!
Car now has 190,000 kms. :p My E55 K Wagon with 66,000 kms wears them perfectly as well !!!!
