With the current compression ratio, it would become a very large grenade. The M5 V10 would have to go through a major transformation to push any significant boost through the motor.

Before Eric gets flamed again, I assume you mean that the M5 motor will never be supercharged, rather than it won't be a ticking timebomb?

FWIW - That was exactly how I read it.

Me too, but I'm getting tired of the flamewars and troll-acusations So I just clarified quickly. I'd rather be reading about how much fun people are having driving either car, than reading the amount of garbage they can dig up about each other

This thread is Hilarious!!!! LOL! Great detective wrk!

But I hope that with all the talk going on back and forth, that when 6.3L cars come out, they put up equivalent or superior #'s 1/4 mile and topend.

(The M5 and M6 look mean upstairs!!)

If not, then there will be trolls running around here like roaches!!!!

What the hell is taking MB so damn long?

Bragging rights will go to either the 5.0L V10 or the 6.3L V8.

Funny thing is, that time slip was only off by .2 of a second. Mph was right on and running 12.57....not so far from fake.

I don't think you mean "not so far from fake". The time slip was a complete fake. You must mean that the person faked this time slip, but there happens to be somebody out there that actually ran a 12.5 @ 118. Right?

yes,,that is correct, it is on video of 12.57 at 118. Time slip was fake but the times were not that far off, only by .2 sec. Pretty good guess from the faker I would say, who knows by spring M5's might be doing low 12's. Any word on the launch date for...nevermind different thread. I will search before I ask...
