your garages
We plan to make our garage abit more presentable over the christmas break, the floor needs to be tiled and walls repainted, also additional lighting needed. I remember in the previous post a fellow member had tiled their garage floor and I thought it looked impressive! but I cant seem find where those pictures have gone to, I think it was a owner with a porsche as well and he had framed porsche pictures on his walls.
If someone can get hold of those pictures it would be great, also some suggestions for patterns for the floor would be greatly appreciated.

This is a guy named Scott M. He lives in Virginia, he used to own a supercharged 996 and a Gt3. On 6speed there is a link to the whole project.
Dont think the epoxy is paint. I wouldnt say it acts anything like it. I had home depot do it, but they send people from rustoleum to do it (contractors or what not trained by them). They come in, sand the entire garage, fill in cracks with bondo, then do the whole process. You cant park cars on it for 10 days, but you can walk on it after a full day. If you do the clear coat, add another day for them to come back and do that and for it to dry. Now once I had these guys come, they told me they couldve done it for half the price, but then I guess there is no warranty involved, etc.
epoxied floor - 1/2 day to paint
craftsman tool boxes
1-1/2" bull nosed maple butcher block work counter
30" wide rubber cushioned work floor around work benches
6 x 4 tube floursescent fixtures
2 seperate rooms to store the crap that accummulates in a garage, whcih keeps the garage itself really clean

I live in a townhouse with a 2 car garage
it's just not enough room for my cars and bikes. Thankfully I have a 7500sq/ft. climate controlled warehouse to keep and work on the toys. The lift really helps when I need to work on the cars. Changing oil and fluids is a snap
