The crown will soon be passed...
Some SL's are FINALLY getting their swerve on. AMAZING 60' time. With a bit more trap speed, they'll get into the 10's!

Whoever does it next is doomed to join a long list of unfamous 2nds in history.
The 2nd person to fly solo across the Atlantic.....the 2nd to design a telephone, the 2nd to have working light bulb.
I guess if it's mid or lower 10's it will make some news. Now if it's 9's?

I think all he has is an airbox, ecu tune and Drag radials.....
The biggest problem with the SL65 is traction. I would love to see what a stock SL65 will do just on drag radials.
Oh! We are in luck, I now have a set in the garage......
Hopefully I can get to the track in the next couple of weeks.

man I have not seen a near 10 sec run with such a low trap...that was done with 100% traction and pure torque. Just shows how important the two are together. Awesome time!

I think the car has heating issues!!! I know I'm pointing out the obvious here!
I believe if someone traps 100mph+ @ the 1/8 mile mark, then it should be in the 10's!?!?
On the other hand, 0-100 mph in 7 seconds is INSANE!!!

My guess is that the since the TT V12 makes more tq down low, it can leave a lot harder if it has traction, even when hobbled by the stock tq converter (which will actually flash higher under the great load placed on it by the TT V12).

that sl had transmission upgrade i believe a computer flash of some sort. thats how there getting the 1.5 60'

A flash will change shift points and make the shifts faster by upping line pressure, but that's the limit of what it can do.
