Pretty cool....it's based on trap speed.
Another way to find out HP is to look at MPH at the end of the quter mile. Most E55s trap at around 115. The formula is as follows:
MPH x 0.00426, result cubed and than divided by weight.
So if take 115 x 0.00426 = 0.4899, cubed equals 0.118, times 4300 lbs. equals to 505.6HP.

Out Of Control!!
Here are 2 formulas that are also supposed to calculate HP. I had to enter 3 HP ='s to get it to appear correctly.
HP = Weight
HP = --------------
HP = (ET/5.825)3 (This 3 is an exponent, or cubed)
OR
HP = (MPH/234)3 (Exponent again) X Weight

I wonder if there is anyway to extrapolate 0-60 times off 60-foot times. I bet than SL65 than ran 11.1@122 with a 1.5X 60-foot would run a 0-60 in 2.7-3.0sec. If Stock is 0-60mph in 4.1-4.2 sec thats probably a 1.9 to 2.0 60-foot.
