Born in Bethpage baby, grandfather from Levittown, aunt and cousins in Nassau County. Think that bout covers it.
Whoo--rahhhh!!!
Used to go with my cousins down to this little magic store in Rockville Centre, guy would play all kinds of tricks on us, like switching change in his hands etc.....really good memories.

Yeah, sure miss the city. Dad Brooklyn....mom Queens......now you can see why I am always bitc hing about living out here. You ask if there are any good pie joints, they direct you to Marie Calendars. Sheesh.
The things we do for women. (Wife from Utah...her dad military out here)
Favorite story was me gassing up my Toyota Pickup truck and heading out of the city mannnnny moons ago.....to "make something of myself in the world". City guy filling up my truck asks "Where ya goin?" I tell him I have a job offer in the South and I am leaving the city for Charleston SC.....he looks at me completely dumbfounded "So you leaving da city......wwwwWHY?" Like you can never leave er......well actually the gas pumpin SOB was right, you never really leave it. You just take a piece of New York with you on the road and share it with America. They hate you for it, but again, we're New Yorkers....F'um.
