I did a highway run with the SRT-10 convertible Viper a few months ago. He got the jump and pulled me slightly then we just accelerated evenly. I couldn't close the gap and he couldn't build on it. I really like the coupes.

I agree with you on the FI'ed Vipers, I've got a buddy who has an '01 TT GTS that ran 10.8@149, it put down 1200 to the rear wheels before it shut the dyno down.

I don't think that my post was misleading, the Vipers I ran were modded, the one blue car was making 100hp more than factory, if that's not modded I don't know what is.

FWIW, the TT Viper is probably the fastest "everyday" street car I have seen.

I own a 97 GTS and although I've never gone up against my car, I would say I could beat my Viper (stock) from a stop in the E55. The E55 is so easy to drive while the Viper takes a bit more practice. After the winter, my E55 won't be able to touch my GTS as I'm doing a lot of modding the next couple of months (should make 550rwhp or so after it's all said and done running on all motor).

No problem. I'll stipulate that 100 rwhp more than stock is accurately described as modded. I didn't know that when I made that post though, and I still can't see how that much more power wouldn't have been reflected in at least his trap speed if not his ET (a properly driven 530 rwhp Viper should run at least low to mid-11's at 125-130). If his dyno sheet was accurate his setup is really missing something (stickier tires maybe?).
