Dyno Question
What year you got??
**edit....just noticed you have an 05. Does anyone know if the getting it into dyno mode is the same for 2003 as his 2005??
Although it doesn't work with my W220 S-class, the newer C-class owners have had this work with theirs. Do this:
-Turn the key to the second position
-Quickly press the R button (Odometer reset) three times.
-You should be able to see this screen that displays voltage (if memory serves me correctly)
-Scroll with the up/down arrows until to see the screen that shows the toggle options for dyno mode
-Use + or - to toggle
Only works with some MBs.
You're da man! Thanks alot..i knew those guys were talking nonsense. If you're ever in Chicago, beers on me!
I being the curious sort I am, decided to look at this menu, even though I am not currently doing a dyno.
Well I guess theres a reason this menu is difficult to access.
I was looking at the service screen and while scrolling through accidently confirmed my A service (which I am not due for over 7000 miles or aprox. 10 mos.) well I was able to remove the confirmation, but now my reminder says my A service is exceded by 16015 days! On the status screen it shows the correct millage until my next service but the days are all screwed up. Now when I start the car it beeps and goes to my service reminder screen. Does anyone know how to fix this???
Don't mean to hijack the thread but I figure if there is a answer known by someone, that it will be helpfull on this thread.
I would really appreciate it if anyone knows the fix. As I would much rather ask people here then have to explain it to my service advisor...
