Eddie Knopp and Spero, you can't play

First company comes into my mind of Germany with 150 years of history is Bosch....
and the USA counterpart would be
GE

Is that right?

Half right!! good job It is GE. OK, I'll give it to you but first here are some stats
- $92B in Revenues
- 450,000 employees
- Over 50,000 patents
- As many software engineers as Microsoft (approx. 30,000)
- Top 5 in the world in R & D exp. (GE is somewhere around 50)
- One of the worlds largest Medical Systems and Healthcare IT soultions providers in the world (first commercial x-ray and CT scanner)
- world's largest provider of wireline network communicatin systems
- 90% of US Mail is processed on our postal automation systems
- Provides baggage handling systems for 100 of the largest US airports
- 3.3 million energy saving lights produced EVERY DAY
- Manufacture 1/3 of all light rail trains in North America
- Our power systems produce 1/3 of the nation's electricity
- Building technologies in many of the most famous structures in the world

and the answer is...

Siemens - And when I tell people I work for Siemens (Medical systems division) most think It's furniture!

How's Chrysler doing it though...ummmm they don't rely on SUV sales?
