james (i think that's your name right?)

Thanks for the compliments! The rims are 19x9 et32 fronts and 19x10 et35 rears with a 3 1/2 lips. I can't even begin to tell you how light these wheels are. They are freakin awsome!!!:p

Also btw these are the first in the country to have this application for my Benz. HRE 540 RDC's (reverse drop center). Specifically made for porsches and ferraris only!

Looks great! Let's see the whole car. What's the ride and handling like with the 19 inchers compared to the stock setup? Did you change the suspension bits as well?

I love those HRE rims... I'm glad you got something different, I usually see BBS LM's on the W210 E55, but those are freaking nice too. When did you get the Brembo brake kit?!?

jco-clk, I remember seeing some pics of your car a while ago, are they still online in any galleries like at Benzsport or MBNZ.org? I have to say that was the nicest CLK i've ever seen. Too bad you got rid of it.

Thanks for the compliments! As far as the ride i'm using a Full Kleemann Speed Sensitive suspensions and kleemann shocks as well. Compared to my stock ones. It's a little bit stiffer but the suspension makes it worth while! Here's another pic of the car.

Thanks DtS! Those are the lightest wheels i've ever put on my car. Felt like i've added an extra hp to the wheels.!

Thanks again for the compliments. Hopefully Phase II will be as good as this one!

BlueBenz:

thanks for the thoughts on my former ride
Pics used to be in the benzsport gallery but now that is gone...I will repost when mbworld upload feature is in action again.
I kept the HRE's and the RS bodywork.
I love the HRE's and hope to reuse them on another car in the future.

JamE55: I thought they looked like the RDC rim...outstanding!!!...Don't tell anyone but that is what I am planning for my SL55...with body colored centers....the style and color I am keeping a secret..

Thanks for the compliments on the rims! Man just love those rims! Forged and the lip design just stands out. These wheels would look good on the SL55! It's a funny thing cuz when i was going back home at a leisurely 90mph notice people around me looking at either my wheels or my car and giving me the thumbsup.

Damn Jam! (that rhymes) that is freaking awesome!

I notice Brembo up front and RennTech/Brembo in Rear? Why RennTech in rear?

How much drop from the Kleemann suspension? What spring pads are you using?

Did you stuff that 285/30/19 S-03 in the rear?
