Look what I saw at the MB dealership
I was just at the MB dealership tonight to inspect the newly delivered CLS55 for my wife and saw this in the showroom. M5 with 1,900 miles and asking price is $99k, btw the dealership is Fletcher Jones Import in Las Vegas.

Congrats on the new CLS55. You should get the dealer to let you test drive the M5. I would... just for the h*ll of it.

Is it my screen color calibration or is it really purple? Ugliest M5 I have been so far.

I think that it's a nice metallic blue -- but the indoor lighting/flourescents always throw off the color.

I suspect the car is silver or gray (at least I hope it is!) and the combination of the artificial light and incorrect colour balance setting on the digital camera has caused this hideous aberration...............................or its just an M5!

The color variation is caused by the Metal Halide lamps in the dealership.They are probably at the end of their life cycle or are newly installed and haven't burned off the impurties in the lamp ( normally after 100 hours of use).

The color is a baby blue, sorry for the picture quality but it was taken with my TREO 650 phone. The M5 was traded in for an MB but the salesman did not know for what model. BTW, the interior is quite lack luster and don't quite understand why BMW would have this cheap looking interior on such a car.
