Lowering via Star Diagnostics
I have asked this on the c219 forum. Maybe someone here can help. I have a CLS55 which the dealer tried to lower. It lowered just fine but then self raised at the end of the session. Any way to keep this from happening? the dealer said he is willing to try it again....

Ummmmmm...I sure think so. Set lower values, keep tinkering until you've got it where you want it -- then save the values/settings.... Did they go with too low of a value and it kicked the changes out?

Did they let the car sit still with the engine running for awhile? It needs to sit idle for some time (can't recall exactly how long offhand) before any adjustments are made.

This is a procedure that generally requires multiple attempts. The car will only allow so much of a drop in height. If you go too low and try to set it, the car will just raise itself back up and you have to start over. You have to play with it in order to get it as low as it will let you. Even if it took 20 attempts(my car took 4 or 5), it still beats paying $1K+ for a lowering module.
