Got my 2005 E55, finally...
I finally got it, 2005 E55 with 4k miles. I had a C32 for 3 years, and when the lease was up, I couldn't get the deal I wanted on a C55 or E55, so I ended up with a 545i. I hated 545i, and after 2 months traded it for a 2006 Infiniti M45, the M45 was great but just too bland, and slow.... so after 8 months with the M45, I traded it for the beast..... could have saved a bunch of money by just getting the car I really wanted in the first place.... oh well... I'm happy now... 
This car is amazing!!

heh... I'll post my times for sure..... hopefully their decent.... I'm not too concered about the ET right now, I'm just hoping my car is strong at pulls at least 115MPH traps....
ok, so the 2005's are prewired for SAT radio..... how much do most dealers charge for the install.... I'll be doing the Sirius and the iPod interface asap...

Looks great. I do like Pewter on both an E55 and on a C55.
That's why I tell people to never trust what a color looks like in a photo, though - cause it looked like a light grey to me on this monitor (or else it's the three many head injuries....
)

i'm doing the same around the summer time or fall...
for now, i'm investing some money on the C32 to keep it fun until the BEAST arrives.

welcome the to 55K club - shoulda bought my strong running beast, but your's looks awesome - what kind of deal did you get on it? As for Sirius most MB dealers charge around $1k to hook it up to Command. And yes I will be coming to Moroso soon but I just need some more run in, not on the engine, but on the LSD.

thanks.... where can I get some K&N filters down here in the south florida area? I want to put em in before moroso....

thanks.. congrats on your CLS.... my details.. 2005 pewter, 4,300 miles, nav, lighting, cd changer, rear sunshade, tire pressure monitor system, integrated phone, rear lip (no idea what kind), extra year and 100k mile warranty, $75K and change....

good question..... they're better, same? I did some searching, and didnt' find anything conclusive...

Streamline Engineering makes the BEST filter. It is 100 times better than a K&N.

wow brooks... you finally got an E55... congrats man!!!! I cant wait to see it in action... it seems everyone with a C32 in S. FL is upgrading to an E55...grrrrrrrr, I need to join everyone and upgrade...lol!!!
