Funny you would say that, I have been looking at the lambo's. The more I look into it the more I like the E Gear Gallardo. I was in Bethesda taken the little one to see a movie since no school today and saw a yellow gallardo drive by. Those things are loud!!!!!!!!!! It looked very sharp!

Well, guys, as I noted a month ago, I took a Z06 from the hole and kept creating space after that. We both had more wheel spin at launch than we'd like, but I can safely say any of your K2 E55s would not have a problem with a stock Z06.... because once launched I just kept pulling forward. I heard his engine more than mine, though, that's for sure!

If you get an E-Gear Gallardo be sure you get the TRACK PREP option on it. It adds Trans Cooler, Shocks, Brakes and Allot of Carbon Fiber stuff.

Fellow member M5Killer(Peter B) purchased a Blue Z06 and brought it last fall to one of our track days that you missed. I am sure Mike has modded that thing by now since he was talking about it back then. If you do a search you should find the video link of that day and see his car.

He lives in VA.

draggin, have you taken your Z to the 1/4 mile track yet? If so what kind of times did you turn? I'm hearing people say everything between 12.3 and 11.6.

It's nice to see that somebody who will actually drive a car like that the way it's SUPPOSED to be driven!!

a few...
Zs will do the qtr in the 12.3 to 11.6 as stated by RennTech V12. They typically trap anywhere from 119 to 127, with the real limiting factor being launches and shift points.

There is a guy who ran an 11.8, i think was the time but trapped 123 (top of third) and then ran 11.65 or so, the times might be different, but trapped 127 because he shifted into 4th.

the ability of these cars is remarkable and given the weight, gearing and engine.. i dont see why they cant take out the biggest and baddest of them all. with some sticky tires and a good launch with a great driver, i would expect low 11s with 126+ trap speed.

Will do. I noticed you that you got together with Ryan Woon? He is looking at buying my brother Supra now. Cool guy. I also see all your fast toys.

I buy these to drive. I am not a collector nor do I think a car is for any thing else but to drive it. And drive it hard. I get new car ever 12 months.

938 is the calculated crank output. It's not exact. Could be 920, could be 945.

I have seen a video of a stock C6 Z06 running low 11.7s. Conditions have to be pretty good though.

I got the race gas program that is written especially 100 octane fuel. Downside is that I've got to run 100 all of the time.
