So when will the E55 get this stuff...?
And if you do a thread search you should find that the 030 Package has been discussed in detail in more than a few threads in the last 2 or 3 weeks.....
Absolutely positive, my notes on the 030 Package are confirmed/updated at least once a week. Two US customers took delivery of their CLS55's last week and one member of this board took his in to have the rear differential fluid serviced last week -- all three had it confirmed that their cars had the LSD. The MBUSA website is not renowned for its accuracy....

Either way you should probably update your list to include this item..

The Nurburgring Suspension in the 030 Package on the other cars is a recalibration of either ABC or Airmatic -- I forget which, but it must be the ABC....
Since I am very aware of the changes incorporated in the suspension of the CLS55, and of the fact that it does not need and will not get the 'Nurburgring Suspension' in the 030 Package...I think that I'll leave my folder notes as is...but thank you for allowing me to spell this out in no uncertain terms on this thread for all those who will follow.
Just another one of the many reasons that the forums are a good source of information for entusiasts.
I'm kind of surprised that this is only available as part of a $10k option package in a car this expensive (sticker on my e55: $92k).
Without the LSD, does a stock e55 then have single-rear-wheel drive, or is the stock diff. a positraction 2-wheel drive rear end?
I'm confused; I'd think a car with this much power would push it out to both wheels. I've never burned rubber or anything (and don't intend to) so I'm asking y'all here.
thanks,
vic
